Nugget | Dahlia Tuber

A rich, black burgundy. Blooms are tightly formed but tend to sit on softer, slightly arching stems, giving the flowers a naturally drooping head. Best suited to garden planting where its rich colour and relaxed habit add depth and atmosphere, rather than for regular cutting.

HOW TO GROW DAHLIAS

• Plant after risk of frost has passed
• Requires 6hrs+ full sun for best flowering
• Plant tubers sideways, 15cm deep in well draining soil
• Space 30-40cm apart per tuber
• Water in lightly, then as shoots emerge
• Pinch at 20cm height to encourage branching
• Cut often, the more you cut, the more they bloom!
• Flowers: Dec-April
