Heart Strings | Dahlia Tuber

One of the seasons stand outs and new to me, Heart Strings is a stunning blush bloom atop strong dark stems. One I reached for over and over again for bouquet work. Bred by Samantha Webb of Wild Violet Flower Farm. Incredibly productive plant.

HOW TO GROW DAHLIAS

• Plant after risk of frost has passed
• Requires 6hrs+ full sun for best flowering
• Plant tubers sideways, 15cm deep in well draining soil
• Space 30-40cm apart per tuber
• Water in lightly, then as shoots emerge
• Pinch at 20cm height to encourage branching
• Cut often, the more you cut, the more they bloom!
