As a small thank you to my lovely customers who supported my first ever dahlia tuber pre-sale, I’m running a giveaway for the chance to win a surprise unicorn tuber with your existing pre-sale order.

Pre-sales require trust and I’m genuinely grateful to everyone who chose to order from Thistle & Weeds this season.

THE PRIZE

There will be 8 winners drawn at random.

Each winner will receive ONE (1) dahlia tuber, chosen at random from the following unicorn varieties:

• Mellum Nina
  
• Devon Caramello
  
• Coorabell Lonny
  
• Winkie Wanderer
  

Winners cannot choose their variety. Your surprise tuber will be selected at random and included with your existing dahlia tuber order when shipping begins.

There is no additional shipping cost.

• one of your Thistle & Weeds dahlia pre-sale order numbers
  

You only need to enter once, even if you placed multiple orders.

Entries close at midnight on 23 September 2026.

Winners will be drawn at random 24th September and emailed directly by me.

If you already grow these cultivars, please consider sitting this one out so someone who missed out this season has a better chance of winning.

Terms & Conditions

This giveaway is open to Thistle & Weeds 2026 dahlia tuber pre-sale customers only.

Entrants must have placed a valid dahlia tuber pre-order with Thistle & Weeds for the 2026 season.

One entry is permitted per customer. Multiple entries will be removed from the draw.

Entrants must provide the email address used for their dahlia tuber order and at least one valid order number.

There will be 8 winners in total.

Each winner will receive one surprise dahlia tuber from the listed varieties. The variety will be chosen at random and cannot be selected, exchanged, transferred or redeemed for cash.

The bonus tuber will be included with the winner’s existing dahlia tuber order when orders are shipped, currently expected from mid to late October, once tubers have started waking and are safe to send.

No additional shipping fee applies for the bonus tuber.

Winners will be selected using a random generator and contacted by email.

This giveaway is only available to eligible Australian customers with valid, non-cancelled dahlia tuber orders. Cancelled, refunded, overseas-linked, freight forwarding, export or on-forwarding orders are not eligible.

As dahlia tubers are living plant material, all bonus tubers are subject to final viability checks before shipping. If a listed variety is not available or suitable to send, Thistle & Weeds may substitute another suitable bonus tuber at its discretion.
